FOR YOUR INFORMATION: As you know, the Building Committee has been working toward the building of a wheelchair ramp, for some time. Well, we are happy to report that we are close. The permits have been applied for, the design has been approved and it will soon be a reality. More news to be announced. Elizabeth Adam, Heather Crisp and Debbie Murray are working toward some plantings to improve the general look of the building once the ramp is a reality. To begin this process, we need some volunteers to dig a garden along the south wall of the building on Avion, to prepare for planting. SATURDAY, MAY 29th, 2010 - 9:00 am - 12:00 Please join in, bring a spade or garden shovel, hand tools and hard rakes. Any shrubs that need moving can be moved at that time. Our neighbours have donated some terra cotta pots which will need potting soil. If anyone can donate a bag or four of potting soil that would help. (not top soil) For info: talk to Elizabeth Adam. AND ANOTHER THING -- before the ramp is built it might be time to consider continuing the painting of the window frames and The Cross, while there is still room to work.
