SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 28th, 2009 - St. Aidan's Anglican Church, Queen and Silverbirch, are welcoming back the Welsh Choir for a special Christmas Concert. In addition to traditional Welsh songs and other favourites there will be Christmas carols for all to join in and sing, interspersed with readings from Dylan Thomas's "A Child's Christmas in Wales". MISSION CAPSULES: Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing ... support the Youth in Mission (YIM) program as it works to provide youth and young adults with exciting mission opportunities in Canada and around the world. YIM offers experience, service, life skills, faith growth, mission education, travel and new relationships. The rewards are personal and spiritual. YIM allows young people to put their faith into action, to experience different cultural settings and to see who they can contibute to society. Let us pray for YIM participants as they share in the work of Jesus Christ through action and expand their faith experience.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 13th, 2009 - 4:00 pm - A reading of Charles Dicken's "A Christmas Carol". So far the readers include Tom Allen, Michael Brett, Peter Oundjian from the TSO, actor Colm Feore and Director Donna Feore. Musicians include Lori Gemmell on Harp, John and Gretchen Abberger, Oboe and Violin, Larry Larsen, Trumpet. More details to come. This event will be in support of the Refugee Fund.

The Egyptians were all drowned in the dessert. Afterwards, Moses went up to Mount Cyanide to get the Ten Commandments!
The first commandment was when Eve told Adam to eat the apple!
The seventh commandment is thou shalt not admit adultery!
Moses died before he ever reached Canada. Then, Joshua led the Hebrews in the battle of Geritol!
