The Session of BPC is the decision-making body of the congregation. It is comprised of Elders, members of the church who have been elected by the congregation, and who have been ordained into this office. At present, there are 13 Ruling Elders (elected), and 1 Teaching Elder (the minister).

The Session, in cooperation with the Minister, is ultimately responsible for the mission and ministry of the congregation. Meetings are held montly for educational and administrative purposes; between meetings, Elders carry a variety of responsiblities in pastoral care and in assisting the day-to-day work of BPC's teams and committees.
